Warranty Terms
We stand behind the quality of our Toland electric bikes. Should any component show defects in workmanship during its warranty period, we will either repair or replace it. The warranty periods are as follows:
Frame: 2 yearsElectrical Components: 2 years
- Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from improper assembly, accidents, or insufficient maintenance
- Faults resulting from modifications or the installation of unauthorized parts/accessories
Nor does it cover damage or failure due to misuse, abuse, negligence, or competitive use. Any frame or component modifications will void this warranty.
- Coverage Details:
Our warranty includes:
- Part replacement
- Transportation of the faulty and repaired/replacement parts
- Labor and parts costs at local bike shops for repairs when customers cannot or choose not to perform repairs themselves
This warranty excludes other labor, transportation, or charges unless mandated by consumer law.
- Procedure for Warranty Claims:
Before initiating any repairs at a third-party bike shop for reimbursement under our warranty, customers must:
- Report the issue to us
- Obtain written confirmation from us
- Provide a detailed report and a repair quote (if applicable)
Only with our prior written confirmation can customers proceed with repairs. We reserve the right to deny or partially reimburse claims without prior confirmation.
- Voiding of Warranty:
The warranty becomes void if:
- The bike is used for non-standard activities
- The owner’s manual is not followed
- The bike is used commercially or in competitive events
- Punctures:
Punctures are not covered under warranty.
- Reimbursement:
ToLand may seek reimbursement for costs incurred if the product is not defective due to faulty materials or workmanship.
- Limitation of Liability:
The company
may seek reimbursement for costs incurred if the product is not defective due to faulty materials or workmanship.
- Conditions of Use:
Bicycles are subject to various impacts, conditions, and accidents. Damage from these factors is not considered a manufacturing fault and is not covered under warranty.
- Water Resistance:
Our electric bikes are water-resistant but not waterproof. Riding in heavy rain, submerging the bike, or washing with a water hose can damage the bike, which is not covered under warranty.
- Assembly and Adjustments:
Proper assembly and adjustments are crucial. If adjustments are needed post-shipment, instructions will be provided. Incorrect assembly or adjustments are not covered under warranty.
Failure to properly assemble the bike or adjust the parts is not covered under warranty.
- Applicability:
These terms apply to all customers, whether purchasing directly, through dealers, or third parties.
- Proof of Purchase:
To make any warranty claims, you must provide valid proof of purchase.
WARRANTY CLAIMS
- PROOF OF PURCHASE IS MANDATORY Warranty claims should be directed to the seller via email with proof of purchase attached.
- Should the seller request it, the buyer must provide photographs and/or videos of the issue. Additionally, the buyer may be asked to undertake troubleshooting steps, which may occasionally require technical expertise.
- Our technical team will evaluate the claim to determine warranty coverage. Both parties must respect the decision made by our technical team. If the cause of the fault is indeterminable, we will cover the costs of repair or replacement in favor of the customer.
- Replacement parts, such as batteries, motors, LCDs, controllers, etc., may be dispatched for testing purposes. Customers are expected to possess a basic level of technical proficiency or have the necessary tools to perform remote system recovery safely with our guidance.
- For returns, exchanges, or repairs, customers are responsible for all associated delivery or shipping costs and restrictions back to our facilities.
LIABILITY
- Toland Bikes Pty Ltd shall not be held liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, even if informed of the potential for such damages. We are not responsible for accidents, misuse, abuse, loss, or injuries to riders, third parties, or any resulting consequences. This includes incidents caused by e-bike power, speed, incorrect or illegal parameter settings, component defects, or malfunctions, regardless of the cause or legal basis, including breach of warranty, contract, negligence, or strict liability.

Customers assume full responsibility and liability for all products and components, including e-bikes, batteries, mechanical parts, electrical wiring, and any unforeseen events, safety issues, maintenance, and services. Customers are also responsible for understanding the safety guidelines and regulations related to the storage, charging, use, and transportation of Li-Ion battery packs.
- Customers are fully responsible for understanding the safety concerns and regulations of keeping, charging, using and transportation of Li-Ion battery packs.
- TOLAND BIKES PTY LTD assumes no responsibility beyond quality control of products and components in-house or in manufacturing facilities, supplier selection of the products including Li-Ion battery packs, street or non-street products. All customers should fully understand their product maintenance and safe keeping including the use of the product and components. Literature provided on our website and manuals are there for this purpose, yet hazard scenarios might not be limited to those foreseen.
- The sole remedy under any implied warranty, is limited to the replacement or repair of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of TOLAND BIKES PTY LTD. Except to the extend specifically prohibited by law, in no event shall TOLAND PTY LTD be liable for any property damage, personal injury or death, fire related incidents, loss of use, loss of opportunity, loss of contract, loss of goodwill, interruption of business, loss of profits, cause and effect loss or any other consequential, direct, indirect, incidental, special or punitive damages whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability, or any other theory.
- Ebike rider must obey all traffic regulations, geographical or age restrictions implied by State and Federal Governments.
STREET LEGALITY
- Where an electric bike is defined as Street legal, it means the electric bike is considered street legal Under Australian Electric Bike Regulations to the best of our knowledge. Those products are viewed as bicycles, not motorized vehicles, without need of insurance license plate or drivers’ license. It is important for you to check your latest state, federal, and local laws to ensure that you are riding legally and safely.
- Please note Street Legal does not mean you can ride your electric bike on any bicycle pathways; parks and trails may have their restrictions against use of electric assist bikes.
- TOLAND BIKES PTY LTD assumes no responsibility of fines, damages, loss or other consequences resulting from riding the bike on public roads where according to local rules and regulations the bike is not considered street legal or for whatever reason should not be ridden on such roads.
SHIPPING POLICY
SHIPPING POLICY
- We ensure the safe delivery of your order. In the event of a lost item, we will provide a replacement at no additional cost; however, we do not accept liability for delays in dispatch or unforeseen delivery delays.
- All bicycle deliveries require a signature upon receipt. If no one is available to sign for the delivery at the specified address, customers may be subject to a "redelivery fee."
- Should you receive packages that are broken or damaged, please photograph the damages and request the courier to acknowledge and sign off on the extent of the damage. If a product is damaged or lost during transit, customers are expected to collaborate with the seller to complete a claim application, utilising the necessary courier paperwork.

Based on where your delivery location is, shipping may take from 3 to 7 business days. We provide tracking for all our orders so you know where it is at all times!
RETURN POLICY
RETURN POLICY
- Customers are responsible for covering the cost of return shipping.
- Products must be returned in their original packaging. If the original packaging is unavailable, refunds will not be processed.
- If returned products sustain damage due to inadequate packaging, repair costs will be borne by the customer.
- All return requests must receive prior written approval via email from Toland Bikes Pty Ltd before being shipped back to our head office for processing.
- If you are unsatisfied with your purchase or have had a change of heart within 14 days of receiving the product, you may return it for a full refund provided there are no signs of usage (e.g., scratches, dents, or any other wear and tear). Return shipping costs will be covered by customer.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring the product is securely repackaged in its original packaging. Should the original packaging be unavailable, a $100 fee will be applied for the provision of replacement packaging materials.
- Any damages incurred during the return process due to inadequate packaging will result in repair costs being charged to the customer.
AFTER-SALES SERVICES
For post-warranty services, we may request customers to provide proof of purchase. We reserve the right to decline service if we cannot verify the requester as an authentic purchaser of our products. If you are purchasing a second-hand bike, please obtain the original proof of purchase from the initial buyer.
USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT
By sharing any content, including reviews, photos, videos, testimonials, technical issues, or service tickets, you grant us and our authorized representatives permission to use or share this content without any claims or royalties.
WEBSITE AND MATERIAL ERRORS
Toland Bikes Pty Ltd is not liable for any direct or indirect consequences resulting from typographical or illustrative errors on our website, in our communications, or shared materials. We will correct errors as they are identified.
DELIVERY AND SUPPLY
Delivery and supply estimates provided for products and services are approximate. Toland bikes Pty Ltd is not responsible for delays in delivery or supply beyond the estimated date. We strive to meet all estimated delivery dates to the best of our ability.
CANCELLATION
If circumstances beyond our control prevent us from delivering or providing products and services, we may cancel the customer’s order, even after it has been accepted, by notifying the customer in writing.
FORCE MAJEURE EVENT
While every effort is made to ensure timely supply and delivery, events beyond our control, such as Force Majeure Events, may cause delays or cancellations. In such cases, obligations under these terms may be suspended for the duration of the event and a reasonable subsequent period.
Both parties must promptly inform the other of any inability to fulfill obligations due to a Force Majeure Event.

Force Majeure Event: Unforeseen events beyond a party's reasonable control that prevent or delay the fulfillment of obligations under these Terms and Conditions. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires, floods, storms, or explosions
- Acts of war, riots, insurrections, vandalism, or sabotage
- Embargoes, epidemics, or government actions
- Strikes, labor disputes, or industrial disturbances
- Power shortages or equipment breakdowns
- Pandemics
